The HDA at the KZN BPSA Emerging Property Developers Summit 2026.
The HDA was proud to partner with the KZN Black Property Sector Association (KZNBPSA) at the Emerging Property Developers Summit 2026, held under the theme “Unlocking Public Private Partnerships for Emerging Property Developers.”
The summit brought together property practitioners, emerging developers, and key stakeholders from across the sector to discuss opportunities, challenges, and pathways to enable greater participation in the property industry. As a strategic partner, the HDA actively participated in the summit and exhibited its services to delegates, giving them an opportunity to better understand the Agency’s role, mandate, and contribution to the Human Settlements ecosystem.
HDA was also well represented by Ms. Nondu Mhlungu, Manager: Marketing and Communication, who participated in the panel discussion titled “Navigating Access, Practice and Acumen in the Property Sector”. She unpacked the role of Marketing and Communication in increasing participation and changing the culture of the property sector, highlighting that marketing is not simply about promoting an organisation, but it is about creating connections, building relationships, and ensuring that opportunities are visible and accessible. She highlighted the importance of building stakeholder relationships, brand positioning, brand visibility, and the power of digital platforms.
Through its participation, exhibition, and contribution to the panel discussion, the HDA demonstrated its commitment to strengthening partnerships, increasing awareness of its services, and contributing to a more inclusive and transformed property sector.
