💥MOBILISING RESOURCES TO BUILD A BETTER NYANDENI💥💃YHIZANI SAKHE INYANDENI ESIYINQWENELAYO 🙌

Today, Nyandeni Local Municipality leadership, led by Honourable Mayor Cllr B.V. Ndamase, together with management led by Ms T. Tshisa, met with the ECSEC team and the Nyandeni Resource Mobilization Committee (RMC) led by Mr.L.Sogayise with clear objectives to strengthen efforts to secure additional funding and partnerships.

As a rural municipality with a limited revenue base and heavy reliance on grants, we continue exploring every available avenue to strengthen service delivery. More resources mean greater opportunities to improve our people’s lives.

Established following our successful Investment Summit, the RMC used the session to reflect on its journey, progress and challenges. Members highlighted matters requiring management’s attention, as well as the political will and leadership support needed to drive this initiative forward.

The session also welcomed Ms Buhle Tonise-Ngudle as a new committee member. She shared insights on steps the Municipality should consider to unlock funding opportunities and access available funding models.

Nyandeni leadership acknowledged the committee’s work while recognising that more remains to be done. Building the Nyandeni we want requires all hands on deck.

The term of office may be drawing to a close, but the work of changing people’s lives must continue.

URhulumente wabantu makaqhubele phambili!

We are building a better future with the people.

Ngokusekwa kweCPF, uluntu luyaxhotyiswa ukuba luthathe inxaxheba ebonakalayo ekujonganeni nemiba yokhuseleko nasekuqulunqeni iindlela zokuthintela ulwaphulo-mthetho kwiingingqi zalo. 🚔 🚨
