The Wise Men's Mission : "Search for the Christ and Worship Him" (Matt 2:2)

King Herod's mission : "Search for the Christ and Destroy Him" (Matt 2:13)

Not everyone who SEARCHES for Christ has honourable motives.

Be careful of those who want to enjoy the labour of your personal search and quest for a deeper knowing of Christ, without wanting the pay the price for the search.

The wise men from the east journeyed for TWO YEARS before arriving at Bethlehem. Their search was long and hard. The old Christmas Carol captures it well ... "We three kings of orient are
Bearing gifts we travelled so far, Field and fountain, Moor and mountain, Following yonder star."

Herod said to the wise men - "You search - and when you find Him - call for me that I may worship Him" (Matt. 2:8). But his motive was not worship but destruction.

Be discerning of those who exploit you in your 'SEARCHING', only to destroy what took you many years, tears, much prayer, fasting and study of God's Word, to find. Not everyone who 'SEEKS' is "seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God."

The wise men demonstrate true Kingship ....

Prov 25:2 - It is the glory of God to CONCEALl a matter,
But the glory of KINGS is to SEARCH out a matter.

In the current season, Authentic Kingship is defined by those who diligently SEARCH out the scriptures to decode fresh revelations of the Christ to the earth. No seeking; no kingship.

Be a King who searches, finds, and worships!

WISE KINGS STILL SEARCH FOR HIM!
