DISCOVERING THE BIRDLIFE OF AFRICAN GAME LODGE!
Sometimes, the most beautiful experiences in nature begin when we simply stop, listen and look around us.
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Elmarie Brits and her friends to African Game Lodge for a birdwatching visit.
Their bird species list highlights an incredible 97 species in our beautiful part of the Klein Karoo!
Among the birds featured on the list are the African Fish Eagle, Malachite Sunbird, African Hoopoe, Karoo Lark and Pale Chanting Goshawk.
And just look at these wonderful photographs, especially the magnificent Spotted Eagle-Owl with its striking yellow eyes!
A special thank you to Elmarie Brits and her friends for sharing their passion for birdwatching, their knowledge and their appreciation of the natural world.
