Thanks to all those who attended our AGM on Saturday. We met new faces who are not new to the park at all - people who use the park for dog walking, exercise and time out on a daily basis. We got to reflect on all we’ve achieved in the past year, and look forward to what comes next. We also enjoyed cake and tea in our newly refurbished Park Office. If you’d like to receive the annual report, DM us with your email address and we’ll add you to the mailing list.

This year, we’re bringing back the spooky fun to the park. Save the date! 🎃 walk around the park to find our creatures and characters waiting with tricks and treats. 🦇 Hang around for storytime if you dare! 👻 parents, we’ve got dinner sorted 🏴‍☠️Prizes for best-dressed. All welcome to this pay-as-you-can event. A special thanks to Muizenberg Improvement District for contributing towards this community event!

We’re delighted with the coverage of this story! And we’re inviting you to get involved - the annual Stream Party is this weekend and our AGM will be next month. Keep following us as we call for volunteer support (sometimes, baking, sometimes planting) and donations. Being involved in a busy community group is very rewarding 😊!

Sadly postponed due to wind!

It’s that time of year again! The Friends of Muizenberg Park are hosting our annual Stream Party. And this year we celebrate our most recent addition to our wetland Restoration project, the phase 3 ponds. We’ll have games with prizes, cake, tea and coffee for sale. We’re also excited to share with you our newly refurbished park office from which we’ll be serving refreshments, and convenient ablution which have also been refurbished thanks to community donations. We’d love to see you there!
