🌧️ SATURDAY MARKET CANCELLED

After keeping a close eye on the forecast, rain is predicted throughout the day, making Saturday’s trading conditions less than ideal.

So, with the best interests of everyone in mind, this Saturday’s market (12 Sept) is cancelled.

Thank you for understanding, and we hope to see you next Saturday 🌿

A fire update for our market family ❤️🔥

We want to reassure our community and visitors that Franschhoek town is safe. Firefighting teams are still hard at work on the mountain areas above the valley, where containment efforts continue in challenging conditions.

We are incredibly grateful to the Cape Winelands District Municipality, CapeNature, Winelands FPA and volunteer services who are protecting our valley 💪

If you’ve been holding back on a visit, please know that the village is OPEN, businesses are welcoming guests as normal and we would love to see you back under the oak trees at the market this weekend.

The market will once again serve as a collection point for our firefighters this weekend, 24 & 25 January. Donations such as water, energade, eye-drops and energy bars will be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻

We’ll continue to share updates if the situation changes. Thank you for your ongoing support, care and kindness towards our beautiful valley.
