The 2026 5th year of the Prestige All-Star event, held in Richards Bay from September 24th to September 26th, gave a new meaning to Annika.

At the opening function, Annika received her first SADSAA All-Star Blazer. She was over the moon and overwhelmed with joy and pride.

Her first words were, "My Boetie het ook so 'n baadjie en nou het ek ook." That is the ultimate achievement for any angler.

It is a symbol of recognition and credit for the achievement—a dream come true.

It is also a motivation for upcoming anglers.

A wise person said that some dreams do come true. Life without dreams is not living.

Thank you to George Ski Boat Club and to the Southern Cape Deep Sea Angling Association, friends, and family for your love and support in making Annika's dream come true. We would not be able to do it without you all.
