Student Political Organisation at NMMU Second Avenue Campus (SASCO)

STATE OF THE BEC, this year this BEC or rather this Branch lost its Chairperson Cder Lebu Maqidlana who was also its deployee in the SRC as Sport officer due to Personal reasons, and had to leave NMMU we were left with one option to reshuffle and co-opt as it had a vacancy in the portfolio, and indeed we Reshuffled and Co-opted and both these processes left the BEC as follows

General information

SASCO is the biggest student movement in Africa. It organizes students in institutions of higher learning striving for the transformation of not just institutions of higher learning but the whole system in order to achieve a non-sexist, non-racial, working class biased and democratic education system. It seeks to ensure the destruction of capitalist relations of production and the ushering of a socialist society.
