COMMEMORATION OF THE 1976 YOUTH UPRISINGS
As South Africa commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Youth Uprisings under the theme “RESET@50 – The Future Calls”, PSETA is proud to have been a part of this historic milestone.
Today, we honour the courage and sacrifice of the youth of 1976 whose actions helped shape our democracy, while empowering a new generation to build the future they envision.

Today, PSETA CEO Ms Bontle Lerumo hosted a Youth Breakfast Dialogue, bringing together PSETA-funded beneficiaries, interns, and learners under the theme "Empowering Youth for Ethical Leadership and Public Service Excellence."
The dialogue welcomed young professionals and representatives from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO), the Special Investigating Unit (SIU), the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME), the Department of Land Reform and Rural Development, the South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM), and the Department of Home Affairs.
The engagement created a platform for meaningful conversations on ethical leadership, professional growth, and the role of young people in building a capable, ethical, and developmental public service.

PSETA HOSTS FETC NEW VENTURE CREATION LEARNERSHIP GRADUATION CEREMONY IN LIMPOPO
The Public Service Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) hosts Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) New Venture Creation Programme graduation ceremony today, 09 June 206, at the Lebowakgomo Civic Centre in Lebowakgomo, Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality, Capricorn District.
This training initiative forms part of PSETA’s proactive and responsive approach to addressing youth unemployment through equipping young people with practical skills for them to be self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to local economic development. The programme was implemented through a strategic partnership between PSETA and National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), supported by Limpopo Office of The Premier. Limpopo Office of The Premier played a critical role in recruiting beneficiaries of this programme in Lebowakgomo area.

Another milestone in strengthening public service excellence.
PSETA, in partnership with QCTO, successfully facilitated the EISA for the Occupational Certificate: Office Administrator (Public Service Administrator) at Sequential Training Academy in Cape Town.
Congratulations to all learners who took this important step towards becoming workplace-ready professionals.

PSETA, in partnership with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), has successfully delivered the first-ever External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) for the Occupational Certificate: Public Service Administrator (NQF Level 5) in KwaZulu-Natal.
Funded by PSETA and facilitated by the QCTO-accredited Skills Development Provider, NS3T Multi-Talent Institute (Pty) Ltd, learners sat for their national assessment at the KZN Provincial Public Service Training Academy marking a significant step towards building a capable, professional, and ethical public service.
We are proud of the candidates who demonstrated their readiness to serve and lead within the public sector.
