As part of observing Africa day , the EFF in sunnyside ward 81 extends it's well wishes to the community of sunnyside in celebrating Africa day. Sunnyside ward 81 is amongst the most cosmopolitan branches of the EFF with its membership consisting of fellow fighters from different parts of the continent.

We take this opportunity to affirm that Africa belongs to Africans and no African shall be treated as an outsider in Africa. Furthermore, we make reference to our history which teaches us that borders were a colonial imposition where colonists created borders as to carve up Africa like a steak so each one could have a piece of Africa as to loot and plunder its resources and take the people as slaves.

The enemy has never been fellow Africans but the capitalist system which makes us compete brutally for resources while the owners of the means of production centralize everything to themselves and make billions while sitting in Europe and America and Africans are left fighting and killing each other for bread crumbs.

This is why the unity of Africans is so important. To defeat capitalism and Neo colonialism as well as imperialism we need each other. Capitalism sees no borders so does imperialism and to fight it we must fight as a collective or we will continue to witness the destruction of our own countries where capitalism and neo colonialism collapses our economies and leaves us poor and hungry.

The EFF is the only organization that speaks of taking the fight to the true enemy which is capitalism. Only a united Africa can defeat Captalism and Neo colonialism and face foward in creating a truly prosperous Africa for all.

We call upon our fellow fighters in joining us at Fnb stadium on the 29th of July in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Economic Emancipation movement for Africa!
