Better data on wildfire occurrence can help us fight wildfires more effectively

By understanding spatial and temporal patterns of wildfire occurrence firefighters can make more informed decisions about how to respond and where to allocate resources.

This can help to reduce the spread of wildfires, minimize damage to property and the environment, and ultimately save lives.

Let's prioritize gathering and sharing data on wildfires to improve our wildfire fighting efforts!
