Today, AgriSETA is in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality, in Christiana for the TRY A SKILL campaign roadshow to interact with learners and youth on viable opportunities, skills and programmes within the sector

AgriSETA is at FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, to provide services to the youth of South Africa and also to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Youth Uprisings.

Today, AgriSETA together with South African Agricultural Awards (SAAA) and Northwest Department of Agriculture and Rural Development are at Potchefstroom College of Agriculture for the Nominations Tour City-by-City Activation.

The aim for this activation is to raise awareness about the agricultural awards, to encourage participation, and provide farmers and agricultural stakeholders with information on the nomination and entry process.

AgriSETA is at Nomkhangala hall in Ulundi, KZN for the Youth Day Career Expo to engage young people on skills development, career opportunities and pathways into the agricultural sector.

AgriSETA is proud to support the NYDA and engage with the young people of Batho Pele Youth/Phanda at Lenyenye Community Hall in Limpopo Province during the rollout of Phase 5 of the National Youth Service (NYS) Roadshow.

The NYS Roadshow aims to empower youth by providing access to valuable information, career guidance, training opportunities, and pathways to earning and personal growth.

Today AgriSETA is at Madibeng White Town Hall, Brits, North West, to support the Minister of Higher Education and Training with the Voter Education Campaign and Career Exhibition

AgriSETA is in Alice Town , in the Eastern Cape, to provide learners and out-of-school youth with career guidance, information on skills pathways, bursaries and how to access government services.

The Youth Career and Services Expo is hosted by the Deputy Minister of Social Development, Mr Ganief Hendricks and Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality.

Minister Buti Manamela today emphasised that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) administration intervention is about protecting students, not punishing individuals.

Key priorities include:
• Ensuring student allowances continue without interruption
• Protecting students from accommodation evictions
• Clearing more than 7,800 outstanding appeals
• Strengthening cybersecurity and safeguarding student data
• Restoring accountability and operational stability

The message remains clear: students must be able to study without administrative crises standing in their way.
