Held under the theme “Strengthening Industry and Stakeholder Partnerships for Skills Development, Occupational Programmes and Workplace Opportunities,” the session provided a platform for various stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities with the institution and potential long-term collaboration.

Industry stakeholders, including merSETA, the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA), ETDP SETA and Nedbank, gathered to discuss opportunities in education and training, employment and infrastructure. The stakeholders shared information on funding, training and development opportunities available to students across various fields of study.

This engagement forms part of MISA’s ongoing commitment to empowering young people, particularly those from disadvantaged communities, with relevant information about opportunities that can support their education, skills development and future careers.
