The National School of Government is proud to announce that the Institute of Chartered IT Professionals (ICITP) has awarded the NSG a Certificate of Accreditation.

This milestone enables the NSG to develop professional learning programmes leading to IT Industry-registered professional designations on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It also strengthens the NSG’s capacity to offer CPD-accredited and candidacy programmes that will advance digital skills development among public servants.

The National School of Government is hosting young professionals from
Various countries in the continent who are participating in the Umholi we Africa Fellowship programme, run by the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg. The two-day workshop is designed as a pre-service training session to equip the young professionals with the skills, exposure, and experience needed to thrive in public institutions in their respective countries. The programme includes briefings on government structures, protocols and procedures, policy making and leadership skills necessary for them to succeed in the public service.
The participants are from South Africa, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, and Botswana.

The NSG is hosting a 2 day Governance and Public Service Protocols Workshop as a pre-service training intervention for Cohort 4 of the Umholi we Africa Fellowship (UwA), a flagship programme of the African Leadership Academy.

The workshop aims to induct young Fellows into government and the public service, while equipping them with knowledge of government structures, protocols and procedures, and strengthening the leadership skills they need to thrive in high-level roles across public institutions.
