What will agriculture need to thrive in the future?

At the South Africa–Italy Agriculture Business Forum, two ARC led discussions tackled this question from different angles.

Dr Linda Mtwisha moderated a session on climate smart agriculture, where delegates explored practical solutions to strengthen resilience and sustainability across agricultural systems.

At the same time, Dr Petronella Chaminuka led discussions on youth, innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on how the sector can create opportunities for the next generation.

The message from both sessions was clear: the future of agriculture depends on innovation, resilience and people.
