At Stats SA, we recognise that behind every statistic, every survey and every service we deliver is a person and our people matter.
Our employees give so much of themselves in serving the organisation and the communities we represent.

As an organisation, we believe that supporting our people goes beyond the workplace. It means creating opportunities for them to prioritise their physical health, mental wellbeing, financial wellness and overall quality of life.

On Saturday, 17 October 2026, Stats SA will host its National Wellness Games, bringing colleagues together for a day dedicated to health, wellness, connection and team spirit.

This year, we are also proud to welcome a range of partners and stakeholders from across the wellness and support landscape, who will contribute to the day through various services, information, activities and wellness-focused offerings. Their participation strengthens our ability to provide our employees with meaningful opportunities to learn, engage and take positive steps towards their wellbeing.

National Wellness Games is more than an event on the calendar. It is a reflection of our commitment to building a workplace where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to take care of themselves.

Because when our people are well, our organisation is stronger.
