A rapid diagnostic test (RDT) is a medical diagnostic test that is quick and easy to perform. RDTs are suitable for preliminary or emergency medical screening and for use in medical facilities with limited resources. They also allow point-of-care testing in primary care for instances that formerly only a laboratory test could measure. They provide same-day results within two hours, typically in approximately 20 minutes.

Expat Rescue supplies a wide variety of these rapid diagnostic tests to our clients as on most sites in Africa
laboratories are not readily available.

Our range of tests include but are not limited to:
· Malaria
· HIV
· TB
· Hepatitis
· Drugs tests
· Alcohol
· Pregnancy
· Glucose etc.

We have also customised our Malaria test offering to include medication in the case of a positive reaction.
Expat Rescue has a customized Malaria test kit that includes 5 test strips, a thermometer and Malaria prophylaxis. This can be given to expatriate personnel when they travel of malaria areas where there might not be proper medical treatment available.

As we prioritize the well-being of our community, let's review crucial fire safety information to help prevent and respond to emergencies in our establishments.

Top 5 Common Fire Hazards:

⚡️Electrical Malfunctions: Faulty wiring, overloaded outlets, and malfunctioning equipment can spark fires.
⚡️Kitchen Grease and Oil: Unattended cooking, grease buildup, and improper storage can ignite fires in restaurants and commercial kitchens.
⚡️Flammable Materials: Improper storage of chemicals, fuels, or other combustible materials can fuel fires.
⚡️Open Flames: Unattended candles, ci******es, or sparks from machinery can ignite fires.
⚡️Clutter and Poor Housekeeping: Accumulated trash, debris, and obstructed escape routes can fuel fires and hinder evacuation.

*MOST IMORTANTLY*

What to Do in Case of a Fire:

🚒Stay Calm: Alert others and activate the fire alarm (if available).
🚒Evacuate Immediately: Use designated escape routes and assembly points.
🚒Call the Fire Department: Dial the emergency number and provide your location.
🚒Don't Use Water: Unless you're sure the fire is not electrical or grease-related, use a fire extinguisher rated for the type of fire.
🚒Prioritize Safety: Don't fight the fire yourself unless trained; wait for professionals.
