H.E. Jane Ndurumo met this morning with Ms. Bernadette Zeiler, CEO of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to explore fresh avenues for strengthening Kenya–South Africa trade relations.

The discussion highlighted promising opportunities for deeper investment cooperation, including the prospect of hosting a Kenya Trade Day early 2026 —an initiative set to enhance bilateral business engagement.

The Kenya High Commission is participating in the B20 Summit, the official business engagement forum of the G20, convened this year under the theme “Inclusive Growth and Shared Prosperity through Global Cooperation.” The Summit brings together global business leaders to exchange insights on key economic and trade priorities shaping the international agenda.

This year’s gathering is significant as it marks the first time the B20 is being hosted on African soil, following South Africa’s accession to the G20.

Today’s panelists included Jacqueline Mugo, Executive Director of FKE and President of the International Organisation of Employers, and Dr. James Mwangi, Group Managing Director and CEO of Equity Group Holdings.

Taking place from 18th - 20th November 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre, the B20 Summit serves as a precursor to the G20 Leaders’ Summit set for 22–23 November 2025.

Building on the recent visit to Germany by H.E. the President, High Commissioner Jane Ndurumo met the Ambassador of Germany in Pretoria.
The two envoys discussed issues of mutual interest between the two countries

High Commissioner Jane Ndurumo and members of staff visited Harambee Stars at the Johannesburg camp to extend support and encourage the team ahead of their match against Namibia at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday. 🇰🇪

Amb. Jane Ndurumo accompanied by Ambassadors and High Commissioners from EAC member States in Pretoria attended the Launch of Taifa and Mashariki discounted fares tailored for Kenyans in Diaspora and East African Citizens in Diaspora.

The EAC Ambassadors lauded the Airline for putting together a special package that aims to promote smooth and efficient air transport by EAC diaspora.

On 22nd July 2024 ,HE Jane Ndurumo, Kenya High Commissioner to South Africa met leaders of the Kenyan Community in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal, most of whom are in the academia.The discussions were on the issues facing the Kenyan community and the opportunities that are in KZN.

Today, 20th July, 2024, H.E. Jane Ndurumo had the pleasure of meeting Kenyan Diaspora Association in South Africa (KEDASA) leadership in Durban, KwaZulu Natal Province. The meeting delved on challenges that Kenyan Diaspora living in KwaZulu Natal face and how the same could be addressed.

H.E Rigathi Gachagua,EGH Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, met a section of Kenyan Diaspora Association in South Africa(KEDASA) leaders in Sandton,Johannesburg. KEDESA leaders seized the opportunity to present a number of cross cutting issues that affect them as Diaspora to His Excellency the Deputy President.

It was great honour hosting Deputy President H. E Rigathi Gachagua at the official Residence of the Kenya High Commission in Pretoria.
The Deputy President represented H.E William Samoei Ruto at the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria.

The Deputy President also planted a tree to commemorate the visit to the Official Residence.
