In today's episode, the oven and air fryer are playing chicken. 🍗⚡

We cooked two similar-sized chickens and measured the electricity each appliance used.

Oven:
⏱️1 hr 20 min (+20 min pre-heating)
⚡ 2.306 kWh
💰 R9.73

Air fryer:
⏱️ 1 hr 15 min
⚡ 0.856 kWh
💰 R3.61

In this test, the air fryer used approximately 63% less electricity and saved more than R6 on one chicken!
