COLLISION ON N1 NORTHBOUND

At approximately 11:14 on 14 October 2026, a collision occurred on the N1 northbound near the N4 split.

Emergency personnel attended to approximately six patients at the scene. The collision also resulted in a substantial paint spill across the road.

Motorists are reminded to remain cautious and alert when travelling.

Incident: Motor Vehicle Accident

A serious accident on the Moloto Road tragically claimed the life of one person. A second person sustained injuries and was transported to hospital for further medical treatment.

Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life, as well as with the injured patient and everyone affected by the incident. 🕯️

A vehicle accident occurred at the Moloto Road and Sefako Makgatho crossing.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported following the collision. While the vehicles may tell a different story, the most important outcome is that everyone involved walked away without injury.

Please remain alert at busy intersections, keep a safe following distance and take extra care when approaching crossings.

Five children were injured after a bakkie rolled on Maroela Weg at around 12:00 on 18 September 2026.

All five children who were travelling in the bakkie were transported to hospital for medical treatment. One of the children sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving intensive care.

At this stage, no further personal information will be shared out of respect for the children and their families.

Our thoughts are with all five children, their families and everyone affected by the accident. We especially hope for strength and recovery for all involved. 🙏

MAN INJURED AND TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT

A accident on Moloto Road left this bakkie badly damaged and one man injured.

The injured man was taken to hospital following the collision.

Scenes like this are a sobering reminder of how quickly an ordinary journey can turn into an emergency. Our thoughts are with the injured man and those close to him, and we hope for a positive recovery. 🙏

INCIDENT REPORT: PEDESTRIAN VEHICLE ACCIDENT

📍 Moloto Road – just past Zuiderster Restaurant

Kilo Delta On Call responded to a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle on Moloto Road early this morning.

Upon arrival, it took responders several minutes to locate the pedestrian, as bystanders had moved her away from the scene. Thankfully, she did not appear to have sustained serious injuries.

Please do not move an injured person following an accident. The nature and extent of their injuries may not be visible, and moving them could potentially worsen an injury. Rather keep the person calm and safe and wait for trained medical personnel to assess them.
