As part of our commitment to improve literacy levels in our communities we will be hosting a Digital Spelling Bee Whizz and Dictionary Whizz competition.

The competition will include traditional Spelling Bee for Grade 4-7 learners while adding a digital element.

As a commitment for inclusion the competition will also be for the Visually Impaired and Deaf community.

We request your support to make the above possible.

Postponement of the Digital Spelling Bee Whizz and Dictionary Whizz Competition

Dear Sir/Madam

We hope this message finds you well.

We wish to inform the public, organisations, contestants, parents, teachers, and schools that the Digital Spelling Bee Whizz and Dictionary Whizz Competition scheduled for 01-02 July 2026 has been postponed.

This decision is due to current uncertainties surrounding 30th of June. The situation especially affects participants travelling on that day from Botswana, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, and Free State, and most parts of Gauteng.

We want to ensure safe and reliable travel and accommodation for all.

The safety, welfare and fair participation of everyone involved remains our priority. A new date will be announced.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes to learners, families, and coaches who have prepared diligently.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We will give an update on the new date soon.

We are looking forward to seeing you in our competition.
