Sakkie Molefe ANCYL COMMEMORATES YOUTH DAY | 2026
The Sakkie Molefe ANCYL Branch commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Soweto Uprising, when young people and school learners displayed extraordinary courage by standing up against the apartheid system.
As we honour their bravery and sacrifice, Sakkie Molefe reflects on the challenges facing today's youth, particularly the persistently high rate of youth unemployment that continues to impact millions of young South Africans.
Let us draw inspiration from the youth of 1976, who refused to accept injustice and became the change they wished to see in society. Their legacy reminds us that young people have the power to shape a better future for themselves and generations to come.

‼️CHURCH VISIT‼️

The ANC , ANCYL and ANCWL with the Councilor Elect , Sebastian Riet had a Church Visit at Apostle Pieter Peters Congregation, they were welcomed with open arms by the Church and the congregation, the Councilor Elect was encouraged with the words of 1SAMUEL 16 "Where David was annointed as King" Rember God gave Samuel an instruction to go to the house of Jesse , cause HE has seen a King amongst one of his sons , but didn't choose any of the seven sons .

Samuel asked Jesse does he have any sons left, Jesse answered yes the youngest , but he is tending the sheep , David was described as handsome and glowing with health . David arrived and the Lord instructed Samuel to annoint him .

MORAL: The Lord does not look at the appearance but HE looks at the heart... from Shepherd to King .

"GOD DOESN'T CALL THE QUALIFIED , BUT HE QUAULIFIES THE CALLED"

Everything Starts with God and the rest will follow.
