Susan Vermaak, OT at Goukam Health APD, had the privilege to represent Goukam Health APD at the local clinic’s Mental Health Day programme. 💚

Days like these are so important in creating awareness around mental health and reminding us that looking after our mental wellbeing is just as important as looking after our physical health.

As part of the programme, we had the opportunity to talk about making time for yourself – something that is often easier said than done. Life can become busy with work, family, responsibilities and caring for others, and we sometimes forget to pause and take care of ourselves.

Self-care doesn't have to be something big or expensive. Sometimes, it's simply giving yourself permission to pause, breathe and recharge.

A big thank you to Petra Stegmann and Sr Schonken at Riversdale clinic in organizing this Mental Health Hub so that we can continue to create awareness, break the stigma and promote mental wellbeing in our community.

Remember: You matter too. Make time for yourself. 🌱💚

🌟 Disability Awareness Morning at Small Dreams School 🌟

We had a wonderful morning at Small Dreams School, creating awareness about disability, inclusion and understanding. 💙

Through fun activities and meaningful interaction, the learners had the opportunity to learn that people may have different abilities, but everyone deserves to be included, respected and valued. 🤝
