🗳️ MOBILE VOTING STATIONS: Bringing Voting Closer to Communities

Did you know? Mobile voting stations are used in voting districts where small populations are spread across large geographical areas.

Just like permanent voting stations, mobile voting stations follow the same procedures to ensure a properly managed voting process at every stop.

Throughout Election Day, these stations visit designated points at specific times. The stopping points and schedules are published in the Government Gazette and communicated through local community media ahead of Election Day, keeping communities and party agents informed.

BEFORE VOTING

• Voting station layout is assembled and clearly marked
• At the first stop, ballot boxes are shown as empty before they are sealed
• Voting takes place during the published voting hours

MOVING TO THE NEXT LOCATION

• The ballot box is sealed and signed before moving
• Agents may add their own seals and signatures
• At the next stop, agents can check the seals before voting starts

AFTER THE FINAL LOCATION

• The ballot box is secured with a seal
• Voting materials are sealed and packed
• All materials are safely transported to the counting station
