INTERRUPTION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLY - MELKRIVIER LINE

Notice is hereby given that there will be an interruption in the electrical supply on the Melkrivier line, to facilitate the energising of the newly built line.

The interruption is scheduled as follows:

The outage will take place on Sunday, 11 October 2026, from 06:00 to 18:00, weather permitting.

Please note that this interruption will only affect consumers on the Melkrivier line.

Residents are requested to treat all electrical equipment as live during the outage.

The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.

NOTICE: PLANNED POWER OUTAGE - PEARSTON

Date Issued: 06 October 2026

Residents of Pearston are hereby notified of a PLANNED POWER OUTAGE scheduled as follows:

Date: Sunday, 11 October 2026
Time: 06:00 AM - 18:00 PM
Area Affected: Pearston - All Areas

Reason: An appointed contractor will be connecting a new line to the existing electricity system as part of ongoing electrical infrastructure upgrades.

Residents are kindly requested to switch off all electrical appliances during this period and to treat all electrical installations as live at all times.

The Municipality apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures residents that every effort will be made to restore supply within the stipulated time.
