Congratulations to the group of WFPA members who completed the Fireboss and Fireboss Refresher Course!

This theoretical course prepares participants to manage multiple firefighting resources during an initial attack or to take responsibility for a section of a larger wildfire as a division supervisor.

The training covers advanced fire behaviour, safety, and strategic and tactical planning. Desktop scenarios and group exercises give participants opportunities to apply their knowledge and allow facilitators to assess their competence.

Thank you to everyone who participated for your commitment to strengthening wildfire response in our area.
