🥳🦌 WHAT A SUPER FRIDAY ! 🦌🥳

Erika had a fantastic sales day, selling all the Blue Wildebeest Cows, all the Impala Ewes and two of the Black Impala Rams ! 🙌🏼💚

The animals were quickly loaded and delivered this morning thanks to our awesome boma and delivery teams ! 🚛💪🏼

A BIG thank you to everyone who made it happen….from sales to loading to delivery. It takes a team, and we’re so proud of ours ! ❤️

Now these beautiful animals can settle back into the bush and enjoy their new homes just in time for the weekend ! 🌿🦌🥳

☀️🥵 EXTREME HEATWAVE – LET’S LOOK AFTER OURSELVES & OUR ANIMALS ! 🥵☀️

With temperatures soaring across South Africa, let’s take extra care of ourselves, our families and our animals ! 💚🌿

A few simple steps can make a BIG difference:

💧 KEEP WATER POINTS FULL !
Check water troughs, dams and buckets every morning and afternoon. Animals may drink much more in extreme heat, so ensure fresh, clean water is always available.

🌳 PROVIDE SHADE
Make sure livestock, wildlife and pets have access to cool, shaded areas.

🐾 PROTECT YOUR PETS
Never leave animals in parked vehicles. Avoid walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day, as hot tar can burn their paws.

🐄 CHECK ON YOUR ANIMALS
Watch for excessive panting, weakness or unusual behaviour. Plan handling, loading and transport for cooler parts of the day where possible.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 LOOK AFTER YOURSELF TOO !
Drink plenty of water, take breaks in the shade and check on children, elderly family members, neighbours and outdoor workers.

🐦 DON’T FORGET THE BIRDS !
A shallow container of fresh water in a safe, shaded spot can help our feathered friends.
