More than a memento. A piece of the Kilima story.

Handcrafted exclusively for Kilima Horned Heritage, each cheeseboard and cheese knife is a unique keepsake for the buyers of our Ankoles.

Perfectly imperfect, no two pieces are alike. The Ankole bust on each handle is based on our own Thabittah, making every piece especially meaningful to us.

Because buying an Ankole is more than a transaction. It is the beginning of a relationship and a shared responsibility to protect and preserve the legacy of the breed.

We hope our buyers treasure these as much as we do.

More than a memento. A piece of the Kilima story.

Handcrafted exclusively for Kilima Horned Heritage, each cheeseboard and cheese knife is created as a special keepsake for the buyers of our Ankoles at each auction.

No two pieces are exactly alike. Each is perfectly imperfect, with its own character, detail and individuality. The Ankole bust used for the handles is based entirely on our own Thabittah, making these pieces even more personal to us.

We are incredibly proud of how they have come together and honoured to share them with the people who become part of our journey through their purchase.

Because to us, it is never simply a transaction. It is the beginning of a relationship. The animal is more than an asset. It becomes part of a shared responsibility to protect, preserve and carry the legacy of the Ankole forward.

To our buyers, we hope you treasure these as much as we have treasured creating them.

Heritage is more than where we come from. It is what we build together, what we pass on, and the people who become part of the story along the way.

Across our farms, kitchens, lodges, venues, businesses, teams and communities, the Schutte Legacy is made up of many different people, places, cultures and traditions.

It is the early mornings and long days. The shared meals, the laughter between colleagues, the friendships built over years. It is welcoming guests, working alongside one another, raising families, growing businesses and creating something that can be carried forward.

Our heritage is in our differences, our shared values, our teams, our comrades, our customers and our friends.

Today, we celebrate all the people who make up the Schutte Legacy.

Different stories. Different cultures. One legacy.

Happy Heritage Day.
