The life and ministry of Prof. Lesego Daniel represent one of the most complex and debated chapters in modern African Pentecostalism. Born on May 15, 1972, in the township of Ga-Rankuwa, his biography is steeped in a sense of predestined purpose. The story often told by his followers is that his birth was a sign from God, as his grandfather allegedly prophesied the child’s arrival and named him Daniel just moments before passing away. This "prophetic birth" laid the foundation for a man who would eventually claim a unique mantle of authority in the spiritual realm. His influence is felt strongly through Rabboni TV (RTV), which broadcasts his miracles and teachings to a global audience 24 hours a day. He emphasizes a "Mystery" theology, suggesting that the Bible contains hidden secrets that only a prophet of his stature can unlock. His impact is also seen in his social outreach, particularly through the War Against Addiction program, which focuses on rehabilitating young people in Pretoria who are struggling with substance abuse. He teaches that spiritual deliverance is the only permanent cure for addiction, a message that resonates deeply in communities hit hard by the drug crisis.

The organizational structure of his ministry is built on the concept of "Sons and Daughters." This refers to a vast network of junior pastors and devoted followers who view Daniel as their spiritual father. These followers are often referred to as "the Rabbonis." The ministry has expanded its footprint with significant branches in Botswana and various parts of South Africa, with the headquarters now situated on a massive farm in Akasia, Pretoria. This farm serves as a spiritual "City of God" where followers believe the ground itself is sanctified.
