Month 2026
cater for all
for the blind
Allanridge and Uitenhage Libraries took their services outside the library' s wall to HEPBSO centre for the partially sighted and the Blind. HEPBSO is a centre situated at Kwa-Nobuhle.
Within the Uitenhage Library, there is a mini-lib which caters for partially sighted and the Blind.

September month celebrate our rich culture as South Africans, hence themed Heritage Month. Also is known to be an Albinism awareness month. Taking our services to them, we say " everyone matters". Also , no one must be left behind in literacy. Also as libraries we feature in a directorate of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture ( SRAC). HEPBSO residents are rich in recreational activities such as cultural music, dance, gamboots dance etc. Today, they showcased their talent.
