POWER OUTAGE – WARDEN TOWN & UPPER EZENZELENI

Dear Residents,
Please be informed that the entire Warden Town and Upper Ezenzeleni areas are currently without electricity due to an underground cable that was damaged during construction work in the industrial area.

The matter is being reported to Eskom and will receive attention. A reference number will be shared once received.

Our technical team is currently attending to the matter. Water will be restored as soon as the necessary repairs have been completed.

Today, the Phumelela Local Municipality’s political leadership, led by the Honourable Mayor Cllr M.D. Kobeni, together with the Chairperson of Infrastructure, Cllr P. Mahlaba, the Municipal Manager, Me G.P.N. Mhlongo-Ntshangase, and the municipal management team, held a productive engagement with representatives from the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL).

The meeting focused on discussions regarding the proposed SANRAL upgrade of the National Route N3 between Harrismith and Warden.

Also in attendance were representatives from the N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), KBK Engineers, and Property Solutions Joint Venture.
