It is the right of every Zambian citizen to vote and participate in the general elections and by-elections provided all the required credentials are available.

From time immemorial, Zambia's education sector has committed itself to making sure that, from as early as grade 6, a child gets to learn about the importance of having leaders.

Good leadership is an ingredient to accelerate the development of a country. Let us be wise when choosing our leaders

Just by looking at some people, one can see the leadership qualities. Mr katongo musonda

fellow citizens, voting, shouldn't be based on who gives you and who doesn't give you but it should be based on merit and capabilities of a candidate. no matter what catastrophe you find yourself in, do not rush into voting for someone who would cause you harm in future. Our children's future is dependent on the decisions we make today. So, if we make wrong decisions then the story of myopic will remain as the main hindrance to the development of our mother Zambia.

See, politics shouldn't be based on who is giving you what or who is buying you beer and food ,No. Politics however, should be based on merit. Meaning, we are suppose to vote for someone who has qualities for good leadership. Zambia's development is in our hands and this can be achieved if we the youths stand for what is right and against the wrong. Let us strive to educate those people who are still in myopic reasoning about the importance of voting on the basis of merit. Together our country can changed.

Development sometimes, is not just supposed to be measured based on the infrastructures but there is also need to measure development based on the Human conditions.. This however avers that, people living in a particular country need to have good working conditions, essential needs, social freedom etc if meaningful development is to be achieved.

How well do you know about the Act of defamation? Well, this is in two types. There is libel( written document) and slander(oral) defamations. However, I want to talk about this in order educate some of you who may not have more knowledge about defamation. Despite us having the freedom of expression, we also have the act of defamation which in this case regulates some of our deeds. In Zambia, we misuse the freedom of expression without taking into consideration that our Zambian human rights have got a lot of derogations. Hence, in everything we do we have to make sure that we use our freedom wisely. Otherwise will dance to the tune of the law and later blame the government.

Konkola, doesn't deserve what it looks like..it needs us young people.
