PUBLIC WARNING!!!
By Sile Mubukwanu
To all travellers that cross the Lubitamei at Naloela (Sikongo/Luena route) and at Maunga (Nangili, Likapai, Mutungi routes?).
It has been sadly observed that some travellers have developed a tendency of pulling their oxcarts on the narrow bridges that were meant strictly for people while oxen pull oxcarts in the water.
One ox shall be confiscated from travellers that will be found pulling oxcarts on the bridges. Naloela and Maunga villages that are near the crossing points have been tasked to carry out the confiscation of oxen until a penalty of K500 has been paid.
The practice removes the planks from the poles.
Any member of the public who finds anyone pulling an oxcart on any of the two bridges must report the perpetrator to chiefs Chiyengele and Nawasilundu respectively as well as the councillor for Mabili ward.

The USAID Zambia we know and the USAID Zambia running the Let's Read project in collaboration with the Zambian Ministry of Education do not seem to be one and the same. The latter is so inhuman that it does not reflect the values of the people of the United States and their government.
How on earth do you treat fellow human beings like this surely? Zambian teachers deserve better treatment than this we are seeing bakwetu.
