Communities in Livingstone and surrounding Areas - villages are currently experiencing a rise in human-wildlife conflict already, with wild animals increasingly moving closer to human settlements in search of food and water.

This is a serious situation - but with the right awareness and behavior, we can protect human lives while conserving our precious wildlife.

🛑 HOW TO STAY SAFE

Your safety is a top priority. Please take the following precautions seriously:

• Avoid moving at night unless absolutely necessary
• Do not walk very early in the mornings when wildlife is still active
• Move in groups where possible
• Ensure children are kept within safe and supervised areas
• Always carry a torch / flashlight at night for better visibility

⚠️ IF YOU ENCOUNTER WILDLIFE

Please remain calm and act responsibly:

• Maintain a safe distance at all times
• DO NOT throw stones or attempt to provoke the animals
• Avoid sudden movements or loud noises
• Slowly and calmly move away
