If you’ve been dreaming of standing on the edge of Victoria Falls, timing is everything…
Livingstone Island is typically open from mid-July to early January, when the Zambezi River’s water levels make it safe to access the island.
During this season, you’ll have the chance to experience its famous natural pools, each opening as conditions allow.
💧 Devil’s Pool is usually open from mid-August to late December.
💧 Angel’s Pool and Rock Pool may be accessible slightly earlier or later, depending on the river levels.
As the Zambezi rises, the island closes for the high-water season (generally from April to mid-June), allowing nature to take its course until it’s safe to welcome guests once again.
Every season offers a different perspective of Victoria Falls, but one thing is guaranteed, your visit is always memorable!
