On this important occasion of International Women’s Day, the Teaching Service Commission of Zambia proudly joins the global community in celebrating the remarkable achievements, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in education and across all sectors of society.
Women play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nation. Within the education sector, female educators, administrators, and leaders continue to nurture young minds, inspire innovation, and cultivate the values that define the next generation of Zambian citizens. Their dedication to service—often demonstrated with unwavering commitment and compassion—remains the cornerstone of a strong and progressive education system.
The Commission recognizes that empowering women is not only a matter of equity but also a catalyst for sustainable national development. We therefore reaffirm our commitment to promoting gender equality, supporting the professional growth of women in the teaching profession, and fostering an environment where every woman can lead, contribute, and thrive without barriers.
As we commemorate this important day, we extend our deepest appreciation to all women serving in the teaching fraternity, as well as to our valued stakeholders who continue to champion inclusive policies and opportunities that uplift women and girls across the country.
Let this day serve as a reminder that when women are empowered, communities flourish, institutions grow stronger, and nations move forward.
Happy International Women’s Day
