ECZ TRAINS VEFs AHEAD OF MANDEVU PARLIAMENTARY BY-ELECTION

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has officially commenced a two-day training for the District Voter Education Committee members and the Voter Education Facilitators-VEFs ahead of the 5th November , 2026 Mandevu Parliamentary By-Election.

The training serves as a preparatory tool for effective community responsive voter education with the aim of increasing voter turn out and correct information on voting eligibility, ballot paper making among other crucial themes in the Mandevu Parliamentary By-Election.

Subsequently, the Commission will deploy the twenty (20) trained Voter Education Facilitators across all the five wards in Mandevu to interact with the community ensuring that Voter Education reaches all stakeholders in the Constituency.
