Evidence is usually the information produced from research, integrated monitoring and evaluation systems, historical experience and good practices. The data when systematically collected and analyzed on a subject of interest, they become information which can be applied to specific problems or questions and consequently use this information as evidence to establish a position or course of action (policy formulation for example).
