Our core mandate is to regulate the health sector in Zambia.

The Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) is a statutory regulatory body established under the Health Professions Act No. 17 of 2024 which repealed and replaced Act No. 24 of 2009.

Note to Patients: Why a little patience goes a long way.

Ever noticed your healthcare team from the receptionist to clinical staff and the doctor spending more time on the computer than on a prescription pad? 💻✍️

Dr. Sydney Shampile explains why that first digital registration and check-up might take a few extra minutes. It’s not just paperwork; it’s about building a secure digital foundation so that your next visit is faster, safer and more coordinated across the entire facility.

The goal? Less time repeating your history and more time focused on your health.

Catch the full conversation with Dr. Shampile on our YouTube channel! 👇

However, we have noticed that some users may still experience challenges navigating certain processes on the portal, including retrieval of documents after successful application.

We are exploring additional ways to make the process simpler and more user-friendly.

Before we share the guidance steps again on how to retrieve your certificates after completion of the application process, we would love to hear from you:

What can we do to make the portal easier for you to use?
