Meet Mutinta Chibelenga from Lusaka Ladies Circle No. 2.
A Joyful circler, Past Chairperson, Past projects convener, Past social convener as she shares her circling Journey.

My circling journey started in 2015, when I came across a colourful post of beautiful ladies in yellow t-shirts with a blue waist coat that had a lot of accessories on it on the Ladies Circle Zambia page. I was curious to know what it was all about and sent an inquiry to Ladies Circle Zambia messenger on 22nd October 2015. Through interactions with the admin, I was linked to circle 2 and I can happily brag I was put in good hands.

I attended my first meeting on 7th February, 2016. that was being hosted by our past chairperson and my sponsor Mwate Van-Rietvelde. During the meeting, I was not very interactive and wanted observe what the environment. 2 years later, I formally joined Ladies circle. I got inducted into the association in 2017 and from that day till date, I have not looked back as I count down to 10 years of being a circler.

My circling journey has been of great inspiration from the amazing women I have come to meet who I now consider as my big sisters and friends.

Mutinta Sandra Chibelenga is coming to you, circlers, asking for your vote for the position of Stores Convener at our Annual General Meeting this May 2026.

I am standing here to seek for continuity of our branding journey that the outgoing convener Lorraine Lungu has left behind. I eagerly can say that I will have big shoes to fit if elected.

Yes I already have some ideas that I feel will enhance what Ladies Circle Zambia is known for; a certain identity when we are out for National and International events. I love the creativity from within our circles, and it would even be more impactful when we are out as Ladies Circle Zambia, to have a branding and identity as ONE.

We need to put back the pride in our pinned waist coats and get it back out there as people like myself and others found it. This applies to all the other circle regalia that we have had that I intend to stock at National level.

Ladies AS I TRY AGAIN, I stand with you as a circler that will deliver when called upon and offered the right support. Together we win!
