Roma Constituency Needs a People-Centered Leader

My call is for leadership rooted in service and solidarity “Roma constituency needs a leader who will speak for the people, stand with the people and ensure everybody benefits in terms of employment, empowerment and access to education and proper healthcare”.

The following are the three critical pillars for Roma’s future:
• Employment: With rising youth popukatuon, Roma requires a leader who can champion job creation, support entrepreneurship, and attract investment to the area. Employment is not just about income—it is about dignity, stability, and hope for families.
• Empowerment: True progress comes when communities are given the tools to shape their own destiny. Empowerment means ensuring that individuals have access to resources, training, and platforms to voice their concerns and contribute to decision-making.
• Education: No community can thrive without strong educational foundations. My emphasizes is that every child in the constituency should have access to quality education, opening doors to brighter futures and breaking cycles of poverty.

This vision is not about promises made from afar—it is about standing shoulder to shoulder with the people. It is about leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. For Roma, the path forward lies in unity, shared responsibility, and a commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind.

As the constituency looks ahead, the question is clear: will Roma choose a leader who embodies these values and transforms them into action? My message is a reminder that leadership is not about titles—it is about service, inclusion, and building a community where opportunity is shared by all.

Happy Labour Day! 🎉 Today is all about honoring workers, their contributions, and the dignity of labor. Today, it’s a day for rest, celebration, and reflection on workers’ rights and achievements.

As a labour relations expert, I have seen Zambia’s labour force grow significantly, with the total number of people in the workforce reaching about 7.4 million in 2024, and projections show continued increases through 2026.

We are optimistic that more and more people shall join the work force.
Happy labour day, good things are coming.

Roma Constituency Aspirant Calls for Unity and Strategic Leadership
Lusaka, Zambia — April 18, 2026

Boniface Zulu, an aspiring Member of Parliament for the newly established Roma Constituency, has emphasized that the success of the area hinges on sober leadership, unity, and strategy. Speaking on his vision for the constituency, Zulu underscored the importance of collective effort and responsible governance in shaping Roma’s future.

“The only key for the newly created Roma Constituency is sober leadership, unity and strategy,” Zulu stated, highlighting his commitment to fostering collaboration among residents and stakeholders.

Roma Constituency, carved out to improve representation and service delivery, faces the challenge of building a strong identity while addressing pressing developmental needs. Zulu’s remarks suggest a focus on inclusive leadership that prioritizes long-term planning over short-term gains.

Observers note that his emphasis on unity reflects the diverse makeup of the constituency, where community cohesion will be vital for progress. Strategy, he explained, involves not only policy formulation but also ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet the needs of all residents.

As the political landscape in Lusaka evolves, Zulu’s message resonates with calls for pragmatic leadership that can bridge divides and deliver tangible results. His campaign is expected to center on strengthening local governance structures, promoting accountability, and encouraging citizen participation in decision-making.

The Roma Constituency, though new, is already drawing attention as a potential model for how emerging constituencies can balance growth with inclusivity. Zulu’s vision sets the tone for what could become a defining chapter in its political and developmental journey.

Never underestimate the value of knowing somebody, be humble and forge strategic connections.

17/12/2025

Ba Kalingalinga Ward , are you there? Who is Aspiring as Councillor? Who are we running with?

16/12/2025

Ba Munali?

What can we learn about the Chawama By-Elections?

UPND first adopted One Timothy Kantenga as a torch bearer, however, due to technicalities, the candidate could not proceed to file in his nominations, it is believed that his credentials are not in the 2021 voter registers.

God works wonders and heard the cry of one Morgan Muunda who has for a long time being a loyal and consistent contender vying for the Chawama Parliamentary post, and there you have he has been adopted.

The key point here is loyalty and consistency, let's not be cheated by selfish politician who just wake up overnight and claim to be Munalians.

The problem with connections is that "you can find a cat in a meeting for Lions".
