We provide educational resources and capacity building opportunities that enhance education, economic status, and personal growth in underserved communities.

We provide learning solutions to underserved communities by providing library services and learning activities to children of every background. This is done in the effort to end the cycle of poverty, better the quality of children's lives and improve the poor reading culture in communities.

Our Menstral Hygiene Day in pictures.

Menstrual Hygiene Day 🩸❤️ was a powerful reminder that menstrual health is everyone's conversation not just for girls but for boys too. It was encouraging to see everyone actively participating, asking questions, and engaging in discussion around menstrual health, hygiene, and breaking the stigma. True awareness happens when everyone is included in the conversation. ❤️

Health and wellness is one of NCL’s key focus areas. Through this program, we aim to position the library as a trusted source of health information for children and young people in our community.

We collaborate with health professionals from different fields to provide factual, reliable health information and help equip young people with knowledge that supports their overall well-being.

Menstrual Hygiene Day

Periods are natural and nothing to be ashamed of. This week, we want to open up the conversation and learn from each other.

Tell us in the comments:

â—Ź What is one thing you wish people understood about periods?
â—ŹWhat advice would you give a young girl experiencing her first period?
â—ŹBoys and men, how do you think you can support menstrual hygiene and end period stigma?

Let’s create a safe and informed community together

Little Khethiwe is only 3 years old, making her our youngest Lit for Life literacy project learner. Her ability to identify and sound out letters is impressive. Toddlers can learn how to read, too🙂
