NCC VISITS ZNSL PREFABRICATED HOUSING FACTORY

Today, 14th May 2026, the National Council for Construction (NCC) visited the Zambia National Shelter Limited (ZNSL) prefabricated concrete housing factory to appreciate the innovative construction technologies and modern housing solutions being introduced into Zambia’s construction sector.

ZNSL, a joint venture between the Zambia National Housing Authority (NHA) and China Jiangsu International Zambia Limited, is pioneering prefabricated concrete housing systems designed to deliver faster, durable, environmentally friendly, and affordable housing solutions.

During the visit, NCC had the opportunity to appreciate several outstanding features of the factory and construction system, including:

✅ Factory-controlled quality assurance systems
✅ Durable and standardized construction materials
✅ Reduced construction waste and environmental impact
✅ Energy-efficient and sustainable building methods
✅ Flexible modular housing designs
