India in Zambia (High Commission of India, Lusaka)

A curtain Raiser event was organized by the High Commission to herald the 12 International Day of Yoga. ( ). Yoga enthusiasts representing different sections of the community in Zambia participated in the event.

India and the African Union have have jointly agreed to postpone the Fourth India–Africa Forum Summit (IAFS IV), originally scheduled for 28–31 May 2026 in New Delhi, following consultations in view of the evolving public health situation in parts of Africa.

India reaffirmed its solidarity with Africa and support for Africa CDC-led efforts, while both sides reiterated their shared commitment to partnership, South–South cooperation, peace, development and the well-being of their peoples.

New dates for the Summit and its associated meetings will be finalized through mutual consultations and communicated in due course.
