Celebrating Literacy Month

📢 OVER 45 YOUNG WRITERS, ONE LIBRARY, ONE BIG DREAM!*

What a day! 🎉
A few minutes ago Solwezi Provincial Library, hosted a Writing Competition celebrating Literacy Month.

Over 45 learners from different schools came together to compete in Story, Poem & Essay Writing.

We hope to see:
✨ Creativity
✨ Poems about our communities
✨ Stories about dreams bigger than challenges
✨ Essays on how books can change Zambia

The competition aims to promote literacy, creativity and confidence among children and youth.
Learners competed across Junior, Young, and Senior categories.
This is why we do what we do. When you open a library, you open minds. When you open minds, you open futures!

A huge thank you to LIAZ ,our librarians, teachers, and every learner who picked up a pen and wrote their future. 🙏

Winners will be announced in due course! Stay tuned.
