✨ The Zimbabwe African National Congress (ZANC) salutes and thanks Sir Wicknell for his generous donation of state-of-the-art ambulances to provincial hospitals.
We pray that God blesses him abundantly and blesses our nation with more patriotic sons and daughters who carry the spirit of unity, empowerment, and revolutionary leadership. 🙏
On behalf of the Zimbabwe African National Congress, we extend our warm wishes to President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on his birthday. As a nation, we may differ in politics, but we share one goal — a better Zimbabwe.
We acknowledge that under his leadership, the Second Republic has delivered visible progress: the Harare–Beitbridge highway rehabilitation, modernization of our international airport, and upgrades at the Beitbridge Border Post, alongside efforts in agriculture and mining.
ZANC’s role is to recognize what is working, while demanding better where Zimbabweans are still struggling.
We are not ZANU PF, and we will never be. We are an independent, people-driven party that believes in smart politics — celebrating progress, confronting failures, and working for one Zimbabwe: peaceful, prosperous, and fair for all.

Heroes Day Message from Party President
In response to our call to honor the late Vice President Dr. Joshua Nkomo, a national hero and founding father of our nation, We are pleased to announce that the Zimbabwe African National Congress (ZANC) has proposed declaring July 1st a public holiday. Dr. Nkomo's tireless efforts towards our country's independence, unity, and progress are a lasting legacy that continues to inspire us today. Declaring July 1st a public holiday would be a fitting tribute to his memory and a celebration of his invaluable contributions to Zimbabwe's history and development. We urge the government to consider this proposal and work with us to make this a reality.
APPRECIATION FOR GUKURAHUNDI HEARINGS INITIATIVE
The Zimbabwe African National Congress (ZANC) acknowledges the government's efforts in spearheading the Gukurahundi hearings across Matabeleland.
This initiative is a crucial step towards addressing the historical disturbances that affected our nation.
We commend the progress made so far, with 170 interviews conducted by chiefs in Matabeleland North and South Provinces. Their dedication to this noble cause is truly commendable.
As an opposition party, we recognize the importance of confronting our past to build a united and prosperous Zimbabwe. We encourage all Zimbabweans to participate in this process and work towards healing and reconciliation.
We look forward to continued progress and collaboration in this endeavor.
