The newly inducted 2026 - 2027 Junior Councillors taking their Oath of Loyalty before the CTC Chairman Cllr J Charumbira, Councillors and Ministry of Local Government and Public Works Officials.

Meet the newly inducted 2026 - 2027 Junior Councillors. The induction was facilitated through the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works and led by Mr Darlington Mupfupi and Mr Stewart Maganyani. Following the two day induction exercise, the 2026 - 2027 Junior Council steering committee was selected;

Chairperson - Melody Mlambo (W8)
Vice Chairperson - Netsai Muchekwa (W6)
Town Secretary - Cindy Matsike (W5)

CTC Chairman Cllr J Charumbira welcomed the Junior Councillors and wished them well as they embarked on their tenure.

The Minister of Local Government and Public Works - Hon D Garwe toured the Masvingo Province Exhibition Stand. He toured all the 8 local authority stands including the Chiredzi Town Council stand, listening to what was being showcased to the various visiting stakeholders and investors, in light of the theme "Connected Economies Competitive Industries". The Honorable Minister highlighted and emphasized the importance of continued engagement with stakeholders and effective service delivery.

ZITF - Day 3 and 4 - From radio interviews with GZU Campus Radio to visits, engagements and support from various stakeholders - the hype of activities continues at the MasvingoProvince Exhibition Stand. The 2026 theme - "Connected Economies Competitive Industries", continues to be championed across the various exhibitions stands in Bulawayo.

ZITF - Day 3 . The Masvingo Province Stand had a hive of activities, with visits from Council Leadership - CTC Chairman Cllr J Charumbira, Cllr G Chigidi and Cllr P Muchaendaepi and various stakeholders including Chiredzi DDC Mr L Chisema and Dr Isaac Matsilele - SG for ARDCZ.
