I had the honor of attending yesterday’s 2026 Graduation Ceremony at Arrupe Jesuit University. It was an inspiring occasion and a valuable opportunity to engage with the young leaders of the next generation. We discussed some of the major global challenges of our time and the importance of a comprehensive and high-quality academic education in addressing them.
I also had the pleasure of exchanging views with the Board of Arrupe Jesuit University, with whom Italy is currently advancing a collaborative project in the aviation maintenance sector.

We visited the House of Smiles, run by CESVI, with the support of Italy 🇮🇹
We stand in solidarity with Zimbabwe and are proud to contribute to strengthening civil society and bringing smiles to those in need.
House of Smile in Harare, established in 2004 as a safe space for children living and working on the streets. The centre provides access to basic services such as meals and hygiene facilities, alongside psychosocial support, education assistance, and recreational activities in a caring and child-friendly environment. It also supports case management, family tracing and reunification services.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share the realities faced by children living on the street and children on the move in Zimbabwe, while reaffirming the importance of coordinated, child-centred protection systems built on dignity, inclusion, and hope for the future.
