NSSA empowers Kamativi Mining Company, together with its contractor companies, Auxin Mining and Rarlon Engineering, on the Basic Occupational Safety and Health Executive Course. The three-day program equipped managers with practical knowledge on accident prevention, OSH legislation, wellness, emergency preparedness, ergonomic safety and workplace safety management.
The course concluded with a certificate award ceremony, recognising participants for their commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and safer workplaces. NSSA remains committed to empowering organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve vision zero and protect workers' safety, health and wellbeing.

The National Disability Expo kicked off today in Masvingo under the theme, “Embracing Disability Inclusion in all Sectors, a Master Stroke for National Prosperity and Economic Development.” NSSA contributed immensely towards the expo.

Apart from exhibiting NSSA donated cash as sponsorship for empowerment projects for people with disability. His Excellency Dr ED Mnangagwa is scheduled to open the expo on Friday, the 26th of June 2026. Equipment from rehab, including wheelchairs, is on display.

The Bulawayo Claims Portal Roadshow was successfully conducted on 22 June 2026. The team commenced the campaign by moving around various high human-concentration areas within the city to raise awareness and engage members of the public before proceeding to the main venue at koSokusile in Nkulumane.
Throughout the outreach activities, the team shared information on the newly launched NSSA Benefits Claims Portal, highlighting its convenience, accessibility, and efficiency in processing benefit claims.
The portal message was well received and appreciated by many and welcomed as a significant improvement in service delivery. Many attendees also thanked NSSA for clarifying numerous issues relating to NSSA membership, benefits, eligibility requirements, and claims procedures.
Overall, the roadshow achieved its objective of increasing awareness of the Benefits Claims Portal while strengthening public understanding of NSSA services and benefits.

The NSSA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Mobile Clinic activation at Bernard Mizeki recorded a significant milestone in community-based healthcare and social protection service delivery, with close to 1 000 congregants receiving medical attention, health assessments and essential medication as part of NSSA’s holistic wellness intervention.
NSSA is committed to enhancing social security coverage through integrated community engagement, combining preventive healthcare, health promotion and social protection awareness to improve the wellbeing and resilience of communities.
The CSR outreach is a platform for beneficiaries to access professional medical support while receiving awareness on NSSA benefit schemes, digital service platforms including the Self-Service Portal and Claims Portal, occupational health and safety, workplace injury prevention, statutory contributions and the importance of social insurance protection.
Through this impactful mobile clinic model, NSSA continues to position itself as a people-centred institution driving inclusive access to healthcare awareness, social security empowerment and sustainable community development.
