Members of the RP-PCP (https://www.rp-pcp.org), they are strengthening their expertise on diseases transmitted by arthropod vectors through a One Health approach, recognizing the close links between human, animal and environmental health. 🔬🌱

Élections consulaires 2026 🗳️

Les élections des conseillers des Français de l’étranger et des délégués consulaires auront lieu pour la circonscription Zimbabwe, Zambie, Kenya, Ouganda, Rwanda, Burundi et Tanzanie.

Le vote par internet étant désormais clos, il reste deux moyens pour faire entendre votre voix :

- à l’urne : L’ambassade tiendra un bureau de vote unique le dimanche 31 mai 2026, de 8h00 à 18h00, à l'adresse suivante : 3 Princess Dr, Harare. Pensez à vous munir d'une pièce d'identité française (passeport ou carte d'identité).

🌱 The French Embassy is supporting biodiversity in Chebvute!

Our team visited the site to assess the impact of the environmental project implemented by Oxfam in Zimbabwe and LID Agency, funded by France.

After a year, the results achieved alongside local communities are tangible:
🌳 Nearly 1,000 trees planted
💧 Restored wetlands
📚 Training on climate adaptation
👩‍🌾 Strong support for the empowerment of women and young people

This project strengthens food security and generates sustainable income. As a symbol of this commitment, our team had the pleasure of planting a tree with the local residents. Next steps for the site: beekeeping 🐝 and ecotourism!
